Electrical Computer Engineering Independent Study
Undergraduate students who are taking Independent Study courses in the Electrical Computer Engineering Program may apply for funding for computer and equipment materials and supplies in order for them to complete their project.
Illinois Experience Fund
The Illinois Experience Fund supports programs that promote inclusion and focuses on establishing connections within the student body while helping students find their niche within the campus community. Only Student Affairs and student organization programs are considered.
Organization Funding Advisory Board (OFAB)
OFAB is designed to fund supplies for all student organizations to utilize. The board of treasurers meets each fall to vote on proposals and decide which materials are of necessity. These funds come from half of the total interest earned by all organization fund accounts.
Program Coordinating Council (PPC)
The PCC funds large-scale educational events, encouraged to address policy or programmatic issues, that will reach as many students as possible and improve the quality, style, and content of student life on campus. Due it its limited budget, the PCC is a last resort in funding.
Scholar Travel Fund (STF)
The STF is a Campus Research Board Program that supports university faculty in presenting original scholarly research and work at academic gatherings such as conferences or meetings on other campuses. The funds are limited to full-time tenured and tenured-track faculty, full-time lecturers, University High School faculty, and Legacy Research Scholars in targeted units.
Student Cultural Programming Fee (SCPF)
The SCPF funds culture-specific programming for African American, Asian American, Latino/a, Women's, LGBT, and Native American students. The purpose is to advance cultural awareness, promote diversity, and educate the campus as a whole. Events must be free to the entire campus.
Student Organization Resource Fee (SORF)
SORF funding is comprised of the mandatory $5.50 fee all students pay each semester. These funds are allocated to Registered Student Organizations that apply for funding equipment, events, or off-campus travel that is relevant to the organization's mission. Funds are allocated by the board of elected students and appointed staff.
Student Sustainability Committee (SSC)
The SSC funds projects that will help continue the university's reputation of being one of the leading universities in sustainability. Two funds, the Sustainable Campus Environmental Fee and the Cleaner Energy Technologies Fee, are collected each year and then allocated to the projects deemed the most beneficial to the university's dedication to sustainability and environmental awareness.
