Program Overview
The Office of Volunteer Programs (OVP) promotes community service and volunteer activity.
OVP is a partnership between the United Way of Champaign County and the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Its mission is to enhance and expand meaningful student
involvement in community service as well as in public engagement. The goal is to enrich
the educational experience for students, faculty and staff at the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign by fostering collaborative relationships and partnerships within the
community.
