Campus Vending Value Card

Value Card

How does the Value Card system work?

The Value Card has a magnetic stripe on the back of the card. The value placed on this stripe may be used to make photocopies in the University Libraries, the Illini Union, residence halls and other select locations. As you use the card, the amount of each transaction is deducted from your card balance. Pricing for products around campus may vary, so check the price of your intended purchase before inserting your card into the reader.

Your i-card may also be used as a Value Card. It has two stripes on the back. The thin one holds your Value Card information. If you choose not to use the Value stripe on your i-card, you may purchase a generic card from any Value Card Teller Machine.

What if my Value Card isn't working?

In the unlikely case your Value Card does not function correctly call Campus Vending at 333-7106, or stop by Illini Union room 284 Monday-Friday, 1pm-5pm (southwest corner).
