Every weekday from Noon-1pm UIUC students share their musical talents in the Courtyard Café & lower-level food court.

Become a Noontime Performer

  • Are you a current UIUC student?
  • Can you sing?
  • Do you play an instrument?
  • Can you play enough material to fill an hour?
  • Does your music style fit a coffee house atmosphere?

Perform weekly in the Illini Union

Noontime Performers get paid to perform weekly in the Illini Union Courtyard Café and lower-level food court, using their musical talents to promote a relaxing atmosphere for the lunch-hour crowd. 

 

Audition for the 2024-2025 School Year

Auditions are first come, first served. Those auditioning will need to perform a total of three songs. One of the three songs must be selected from the list below:

  • Wonderwall – Oasis
  • World’s Smallest Violin – AJR
  • I’m Yours – Jason Mraz
  • Part Of Your World – from The Little Mermaid
  • Ceilings – Lizzie McAlpine
  • Archer – Taylor Swift
  • Driver’s License – Olivia Rodrigo
  • Nobody – Mitski
  • Slipping Through My Fingers – ABBA
  • I Will Always Love You – Either the Whitney Houston or Dolly Parton versions
